Our aim is to inspire people to write more letters!
Letter writing is truly a lost art, but it doesn’t have to be! In this modern age of instant messaging, email, and video calls there doesn’t seem time and space for the slow art of letter writing.
Letters used to be a staple of communication. Sending news, keeping war-separated lovers connected, or a way to make a friend halfway around the world. Letters recorded our thoughts and our history. Each note or letter is a sweet treasure and we can bring letter-writing back to life!

It’s free to become a LWS member. You’ll receive our monthly newsletter with the theme for the month, letter-writing inspiration, and news on competitions and challenges. You will also gain access to our facebook group where you can find new penpals, share your mail art, and connect with a like-minded community of people!
